Skip Nice

It took us forever to get to Nice, and then when we got there, we decided we didn’t care for it (or our hotel) very much. So we got up the next morning and took a train to Aix-en-Provence. Aix, unlike Nice, is very pretty and much more comfortable. We’re staying just outside the city at a place called “Mas Des Ecureuils” (“The Squirrel House”). It was too good to resist! It’s quiet and relaxing and has lots of trees (and squirrels, though I haven’t seen them yet).

Today we drove to a small hilltop medieval town called Les Baux. It was very neat and had amazing views, though it was extremely touristy. Everything was a shop.

In France, even the letters are in different places on the keyboards. It has taken a very long time to write this, so I don’t know how much more I’ll post from here!

  1. Is it worse than Matthew’s keyboard? Although I suppose that at least is intended for writing in English. And I do approve of button hugeness. It’s still nutty though.
