Frozen Calzone + Spaghetti Sauce = Dinner!

Hey! I’ve posted a few new pictures on my Flickr page!

Soooo… what’s been going on lately?…

I’ve been waiting for the PRC to release Kelly and baking this week. On Monday I made Banana Bread, Tuesday Uncle John helped me make bread dough, and Wednesday I made Calzone and apple scones! The Calzone came out pretty well, if I do say so myself. Though, I think next time I want to try adding some different cheeses with a more pronounced flavor (sharp? tangy?). And maybe more Mozzarella! Still, I’ve got a bunch of Calzone in my freezer now, so whenever I’m too busy or lazy to make something, I can just heat one up in the microwave! Go me!

I’ve also started another weaving project. Just some more cloth for now – trying to use up some of my yarn stash that I bought from the UO. It’s a nice charcoal grey color, though a bit scratchy. I think I might try fulling it when I’m done. I hope to have enough for a surcoat, but we’ll see how it goes.

[Warning: jargon!] Right now I’m threading the heddles and I’ve got about another 250 ends to go (total 300 ends, 10EPI). I’m warping back to front so I’ve still got to sley the reed after this. I might be tied on before bed tonight, if I don’t go see a movie. It took a while to wind on (which I did last night) because I was all by me onesies! [End of jargon.]

I’m also occasionally working on my tapestry project (see the picture on my Flickr page!) It’s coming along pretty well, though I really don’t know what to do with it when it’s done… I’ve got a couple of good ideas but I’d need two of them, and that’s probably not going to happen!

Had a short break from SCA stuff in the last couple weeks, but plenty more coming up soon! Including Highland War at the end of the month, which I’m looking forward to!
